How to track your performance as a high-ticket closer
Updated October 4, 2026
As a closer, your job comes down to numbers: how many calls you took, how many showed up, how many you closed and how much cash came in. Tracking your performance means having those numbers up to date and calculated correctly, so you can see what to fix before the month is over.
Why track your performance
Without data you can't tell where you're losing deals. A slow month could mean prospects aren't showing up, you're not closing, or your average ticket dropped, and each one has a different fix.
Your numbers also back you up. When you negotiate your commission, take on a new offer or apply to another sales team, a clear track record of close rate and cash collected says more than any testimonial.
What to track
These five metrics give you the full picture of a high-ticket closer:
- Booked calls: the volume you received in the period.
- Show rate: the percentage of booked calls that actually showed up.
- Close rate: the percentage of calls that showed up and turned into a sale, on the call or in the follow-up.
- Cash collected: the money that actually came in from your closes.
- Commission: what you take home, based on each offer's commission rate.
How to log every call
Log the outcome right after the call, while it's still fresh. There are only a few possible outcomes: closed on the call, closed later in the follow-up, not closed, no-show or rescheduled.
If you closed, log the offer you sold and the amount collected. That's all you need to calculate cash collected and your commission. Leave it for Friday and you'll end up with gaps and numbers that don't add up.
How often to review your numbers
A weekly check is enough to spot trends. If your show rate drops two weeks in a row, the problem is before the call: confirmations or lead quality. If your close rate drops, it's on the call.
At the end of the month, compare against the previous month and pick one thing to improve next.
Spreadsheet, CRM or tracker
A spreadsheet is free, but you have to enter everything by hand and keep the formulas from breaking. A CRM is built to manage a company's pipeline, not your individual performance. A closer tracker is built for exactly this: calls sync automatically and your metrics update every time you log an outcome.
How Closrr handles it
Closrr imports your booked calls from Google Calendar, lets you log each outcome in two clicks and calculates show rate, close rate, cash collected and commission by week or by month. Connect Fathom and every call keeps its summary and transcript. You can also download a PDF report for any period.
